Are you
Where are you?

I'd like to testify on behalf of the defense, whenever you've gotten so far as to arrange depositions.
Not much of a character witness, I guess. But I don't know what else I can do.

Moving out of the Conrad. It's a bit claustrophobic, among other reasons. If you need me, you can contact me over the journals.
[Locked to Dusty and Rachel]
I'm renting several places. Some for business, mostly because I like to have room to move around. You're both more than welcome to come with me. I'd consider it an honor.

In the box, a long, sleeveless dress in a flattering cut made from complimentary shades of navy and orange cloth.
For Dusty, a little velvet box shaped like a cello case. Inside, a custom made necklace and earrings. The necklace is a gold peace cleff. The earrings are mostly gold with a bit of silver, wrought to look like a tiny cello and a bow, round and thin in the same style as the necklace. Underneath those, there's a there's a card with the Chicago Center School of Music logo, a name (Emily Turnsbek) and a number. An added note reads, She's a muse and a teacher. I told her you might call. Her partner is a woman named Denise Weer. She's a Children's angel, too.
Rachel will find another brown-wrapped box outside of her room, containing a wooden puzzlebox carved with willows. Once she gets it open, she'll find a pair of earrings as well. Lucky for him platinum looks like silver. The bangles have three circles of various sizes dangling at their ends, each one crafted to look like the top of Rachel's key necklace. There's a tiny card that says Thank you again. Every note will make me think of you.
Yeah, it's a little overboard. But hell, what else is he going to do with sixty-odd years of saved funds? And he loves his girls.

He snuck it there before hiding again. It's two boxes, wrapped in plain brown paper. The bottom and larger one contains a perfume set, while the top one is a little jewelry box containing a stone-studded necklace shaped like a key.
There's a little note, too. All it says is Thank you.

Remind me why the jumping thing is a bad idea.
Please.

[In abysmal handwriting:]
Might have to rain check the jam session, papagayo.
[Locked to Rachel]
[Still in abysmal handwriting:]
You all right?

Fuck this city.
Been out lately, mija? There's a carnival in town.
The sooner you get out of the Conrad, mija, the better.
